Élise Gauthier is a bilingual artist who works and performs in both the English and the French theatre communities in Ottawa. She's a member of the Ottawa Stilt Union, a colingual company of theatre on stilts, and, recently, she directed a show for the Laboratoire de mise en scène at the Espace René-Provost, in Gatineau. She is currently working on a new project of poetry inspired by and in honour of Ottawa. When not stilting, writing, directing or acting, she can be found telling chilling tales of her city with the Haunted Walk of Ottawa.
