When I woke up this morning (man I would have liked to sleep all day), the first thing I did was login to Google Analytics, to check out the statistics for the STT web site. I'm a "pretty pictures" kind of gal whose eyes glaze over with numbers (don't get me wrong, I did well in math in High School, but my heart is artsy all the way), but my web designer insists that Google Analytics (GA) will suck me in and I will be obsessively looking at it every day.

So, hold on to your hats ... GA says we have over 10,000 page views so far, in the history of the site. Now, some of this includes site traffic when we were testing it, but still, that might account for 1000 or so of the views. Most of that traffic is from *you* our viewers and fans! YAY!

So, I immediately opened the Map View (I told you I was a "pretty pictures" gal), that has a lovely world map, with the countries where our visits have come from coloured in. Most of our page visits are from Canada (almost 1500 of you), the rest are from the US, Germany, UK, Brazil, Russia, France, Mexico, Switzerland, Barbados, the Netherlands, Australia, Ireland and Panama. We aren't big in Japan yet, but maybe we will be someday!

So, I think all of that is pretty cool, and I'm pretty overwhelmed. The Tarts are super excited, sending me feverish e-mails about press coverage and feedback they have received. I am flattered that so many of you like STT! It hit me late yesterday, as the comments and news coverage rolled in, that there are now people "out there" who have watched something I wrote, and that my team created, who like it WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW ME! Not that the support of my friends isn't important, but when perfect strangers like something you've done, well, it's very affirming, and kind of overwhelming.

Thanks to everyone! This week we are polishing up Episode 2 - how will Bob react to what the Tarts did in the gym? AND ... we are prepping to shoot 3 more episodes this weekend. GAH!
